Pink × Light Blue
With its soft, Western-inspired color palette, this tapestry complements not only traditional Japanese rooms but also modern interior spaces.
This piece was handmade from an unused obi (kimono sash) that remained in the inventory of my grandparents' former kimono shop after it closed.
Size
Obi width: 31 cm (12.2 in)
Obi length: 88 cm (34.6 in)
Hanging rod length: 51 cm (20.1 in)
This tapestry was displayed in my Japanese-style room for about one year. I am now parting with it as part of a room redesign.
While this is a lovely handmade piece, it was created by an amateur. If you are concerned about handmade imperfections, please refrain from purchasing.
Please refer to the photos for details regarding its condition and design.
